Perched on the edge of the Aegean, the remote island of Karpathos has retained many of its unique cultural traditions. The island’s traditional dress is some of the most visually stunning in Greece, and shows design influence from the Ottomans, Venetians and Genovese.

This fabric is derived from a rich embroidered tunic from the 1700s, held in a private collection, and it’s one of our absolute favorites.
